About Me
I've been practicing therapy for several years here in Austin, Texas. As a neurodivergent therapist with complex dissociation, I've been able to provide a space for many clients to be truly and fully seen for who they are beyond the labels. I've developed a love for parts work, combining aspects of Internal Family Systems and Ego State Therapy to help navigate internal conflict and disrupt the cycles of shame and blame.
Aside from liking shiny rocks, I picked "Geode" to represent my practice for a reason. If I were to describe most of my clients, it would be how I describe a geode. Maybe they feel ordinary externally, but if you look inside a little deeper, you'll find a complex world of its own. Each one is truly unique in its fragments, reflections, and internal structure. However, in that uniqueness, it can be somewhat isolating and difficult to express what's really going on inside. Sometimes others can't see past the sharp edges to appreciate the structure and purpose it serves. That feeling is what drove me to become a therapist and help others find their person to see them for the beautiful gem they are deep down.
I have a soft spot for the misfits, deep thinkers, and those who are learning to embrace their weirdness. Sometimes healing means giving yourself permission to stop hiding your niche interests or hobbies, even if few people understand them. Growing up immersed in video games, JPop, and anime has helped me appreciate individuality and seek connection with others who see the world a little differently. If you’re looking for a therapist who will encourage you to embrace ALL parts of yourself and will eagerly listen to whatever your passions are, then you’re in the right place. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you as you learn to feel more at home in yourself.

Outside of being a therapist...
Who are you REALLY?
Outside of the therapy space, I have a lot of simple pleasures and hobbies I enjoy. I've been playing video games of all kinds since I was very young, and treasure the connections I've made through it. Fun fact: I met my fiance online from gaming together and we were long distance for 6 years!
I also love cooking and trying new foods, the spicier the better! I'm particularly fond of learning how to make food from other cultures, especially Mexican, Korean, and Japanese food. Yoga is also something that's become really important to my physical and emotional wellbeing and I engage with it as much as my schedule allows!
My friends would describe me as someone supportive, kind yet direct, thoughtful, and passionate. I care a lot about the people (and animals) in my life, and work to make a difference in the ways I can.
Being a therapist is an important part of myself, but really is something that has evolved out of the way I carry myself in relationship with others across my life. I've also taken my values to other areas in my personal time, like assisting nonprofits with work to make political differences for marginalized communities.
